Refrigeration Van Solutions for Your Chilled Home Deliveries

Posted on: 10 October 2017

Transportation has evolved with time. The world has reached a place where we can transport both perishable and non-perishable goods. The home delivery industry has taken this into perspective and developed refrigerated vans which can be used for chilled goods home delivery. These can include medicine or even food products. You may require things to be delivered to your clients' homes. Well, worry not, because below are three types of home delivery refrigeration vans you may wish to partner with or hire.

  1. The Insulation Van – The insulation van is the first type of refrigerated solution available for home delivery. The van is simple but packs a lot of usefulness when it comes to the distribution of chilled goods. It employs an insulation padding which prevents any heat accumulation inside the van. The insulation also prevents external heat from getting inside to destroy your refrigerated products. The refrigeration van comes with significant padding made from materials such as Styrofoam. This component enables the internal temperature to be regulated efficiently. The van can be used for the transportation of products such as medication which does not require intense refrigeration.
  2. The Chiller Conversion Van – This here represents the second solution to the delivery of your chilled goods. The van employs a similar mechanism to the insulation van, but it comes along with a chiller refrigeration system to assist in cooling. The insulation is also fairly thick, and this is used to regulate internal temperatures. Considering that it is a chiller refrigeration system, temperatures within cannot drop below zero degrees Celsius. This means that your goods will remain chilled as required but not frozen. This sort of van can be used for the transportation of vegetables and fruits from the markets all the way to people's homes.
  3. The Freezer Conversion Van – This is a van which has the capability of transporting goods in their frozen state. Similar to the other vans discussed, it has an insulation system used to keep products colder. The padding in such a van can range in thickness for proper functionality, but it's even thicker than regular refrigerated vans. Considering the van has a freezer refrigeration system, temperatures can drop to as low as -25 degrees Celsius. It also packs a defrosting system which can be used in deliveries where defrosting is required on arrival. The van can be used in the transportation of fish, meat, ice, etc.
